Nava has extensive administrative experience and has been in the Medical Meeting Management field for over 25 years. Her experience, leadership skills, and genuine love of people make her uniquely qualified to direct the Medical Education Division of the Metabolic Institute of America.
Following wide experience in medical education programs, Nava has been the course director of the Annual World Congress on Insulin Resistance, Diabetes, and Cardiovascular Disease (WCIRDC) since its inception in 2003. And the annual Heart in Diabetes (HiD) Congress since 2017. She leads both local and nationwide educational projects, medical conferences, and CME meetings, and has substantial experience and expertise in developing and applying for corporate grant sponsorship and CME programs. She also provides administrative services including attendee registration, events, travel planning, and general event coordination and logistics.
Nava has experience in the management of nonprofit associations. She served as the secretary of a non-profit association organizing large festivals in Los Angeles and currently has been serving as the administrator of the Metabolic Endocrine Education Foundation (MEEF) as well as the Diabetes Cardiorenal & Metabolism Institute (DCMi)
She earned a Computer Graphic Design degree from California State University Northridge.
Originally from Israel, Nava has called California home since 1992.

As a dedicated Project Coordinator, Tania ensures the seamless execution of initiatives at TMIOA. She’s committed to delivering excellence in every task she undertakes and loves the satisfaction of seeing projects come into fruition.

JC is an accomplished professional hailing from the Philippines, with a rich and diverse background in both communications and program coordination. With a successful stint as a former Creative Director for a prestigious multinational advertising agency in Manila and armed with a Master's Degree in Integrated Marketing Communications, JC embodies a unique blend of artistic prowess and strategic marketing acumen.

With an impressive track record spanning two decades, JC has honed his skills in marketing, advertising, and event management, making him an invaluable asset to any team. Notably, his previous role as a Day Program Administrative Assistant in a care facility for adults with developmental disabilities reflects his compassionate nature and dedication to supporting the community.
